LRAC UPDATE

June 7, 2018

God is good, and there is much to be excited about.

As many of you are aware, I have been spending the week at National Assembly, the biennial meeting of our denominations leaders. Assembly is held over several days, and it's where we do business to effect change to our organization, but also where we discuss and cast vision for the direction and momentum of where we are headed.

I've been very encouraged to hear the stories of my fellow pastors and other church leaders, and in particular I was excited to hear about the partnership of our sister church in North Battleford and the connection they have with the reserve communities around their city. I look forward to sharing more with you about it in the coming months.

I've also been encouraged as I've been able to pray with and for many other church leaders, as we have repented of sin, as we have asked for the leading of the Holy Spirit, and as we have committed to going further on mission, and deeper in Jesus. Please pray for all of us as we spend the rest of this week finishing our discussions and uplifting one another.

Also, please encourage Lynton Tonn as he shares from the pulpit at LRAC this coming Sunday. Lynton will be continuing our series on Mark that was begun last week. Come prepared as he shares about the temptation that Jesus faced, and the lessons we can all learn from God's word.

In Christ,

Pastor Jacob
