LRAC UPDATE

August 2, 2018

How do you do with change? Some changes are great, and it's easy to take them, and some changes are easily recognizable as bad ideas, but most of the change that happens falls into a grey zone. Some people like the changes, and some people don't like the changes. Regardless of our feelings on change, it happens. Nothing we can do to stop it. We get older, our relationships grow and fade, the world around us is proceeding at a rapid pace, and as each day, week, month and year tick by, change surrounds us.

Over the course of this year we have introduced many small changes to our service, and to various areas of ministry. Some have been well received, and some of perhaps even gone unnoticed. Some have been less successful, and after trying them we've gone back to the 'way it used to be. In coming months we're going to be introducing more changes! Our website has received a major overhaul, and you can find a lot of helpful information there, and is continuing to improve. In coming months we are hoping to launch new areas of ministry for our church, including bible studies, quizzing and youth group.

Change is coming to our church, and I want you to know that I know it isn't always easy. Please know that I value feedback, and I'm willing to listen to what you think about these changes. We hope that you'll be ready to help out, especially as we unveil some of the new ministry opportunities around the church, and I look forward to seeing lives changed and moved towards Christlikeness as we press forward into Jesus and His mission.

In Christ,
Pastor Jacob
